Halo 5: Guardians is an upcoming first-person shooter. The Halo franchise game is being developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft Studios. Serving as the sequel to Halo 4, the game is scheduled to be released in 2015.
During their 2014 E3 press conference, Microsoft revealed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be released with an exclusive pass to access Halo 5 '​s multiplayer beta, which began December 29, 2014, and runs through January 18, 2015.
