David Tennant plays an eccentric software tycoon named Gary "Gaz" Whitney in the 2001 comedy "High Stakes" episode entitled "The Magic Word." Bank director Bruce (Richard Wilson) has lent Gaz a lot of money and is trying to convince him to restructure his failing company so he can pay the bank back. The only problem is that Gaz refuses to listen to people he perceives as corporate types who don't understand him. He only responds to a certain Navajo phrase that Bruce heard the bank chairman Nicholas (Jack Shepherd) use, but one Bruce himself doesn't understand. Bruce tries to bluff his way through long enough to get Gaz to sign the papers since Nicholas, who is on strong pain medication, can't be of help... or can he?
