Quantum Break is an upcoming third-person action game to be released on the Xbox One. Developed by Remedy Entertainment to be published by Microsoft Studios, the game will feature live-action videos blended with regular gameplay. A Quantum Break television series is also in production.
The game is played from a cover-based third-person perspective, with time manipulation powers.
The game was revealed with a teaser trailer during the Xbox One reveal event on 21 May 2013. While developing the game, developers Remedy Entertainment consulted a scientist lecturer who had worked at CERN who taught them how to write the plot in such a way that it adhered to current theoretical physics.[endtext]
